Wow, 33 years old! It's hard to believe, considering how fantastic you still look(hehe). Hoping it all went well, and you had a great one! In fact, hope you had a Killer 33rd birthday party!

10 Simple Examples Of My Rabid Fangirling
Hello,
For those of you who haven't yet been convinced of how much I love The Killers, I thought I'd make a quick post about just how much I love these guys. 10 example of my rabid fangirling!
1. I must have had close to 15 dreams about The Killers so far. This might not seem like a lot, but it is for me. I rarely have dreams. I'd say, ordinarily, once a month. Some of them I can't remember fully...Sad, isn't it? The first dream I ever had about these guys was about a year ago, and the night before I'd had a Killer-related revalation, so they were still running through my mind(Brandon, are your feet tired? 'Cause you've been running through my mind all day!) and I remember it being a contest of who can hagn onto a many-storied building? I came 3rd, out of five. Brandon...won, if course. I also had two dreams last night, one being one of the happiest dreams of my life, the other beng very different indeed, but both Killers related. At least I can take comfort in the fact The Killers don't have to leave my brain when I sleep!
2. I've used the name "Brandon" in three of my essays this year. I would use more, but a lot of the essays don't require names. And I don't want my teacher to get suspicious! But, I still use Brandon sparingly, and in my last essay even used some Killers references. It was actually based quite a lot on the Jenny/Midnight/Bourbon "Murder Trilogy" story. I remember saying "His big, brown eyes", which sends my brain spiralling when I re-read it.
3. My obsession has lead to typing issues, and...stuff. A while back, I was in an ACC rant about Hollister, Abercrombie, Aero, and American Eagle, general "brand name clothing". I realised I had to leave when I couldn't help but add an "on" onto "Brand"(WOAH, I just did it again! I had to backspace...). It was actually a huge problem. I can't type anything about Flowers, without adding "Brandon" before hand. I can't say anything murderers(Also known as Killers) without adding "the". I get similar problems when I hear words such as Smile, Human, Brightside, when, Soldier, and Spaceman, which leads me to posting some lyrics.
4. A while last year, The Killers were all I listened to four 3 months. No other music. The Killers still hold the throne for music I listen to most, but other music is essential. I loved it. Since I had 50 or so Killers songs, they never got boring. Three months was quite something. After a while, it become weird to click on any other artist...And, I remember after three months accidentally clicking "shuffle songs" and Kaiser Chief's "Ruby" appearing. And being surprised that the singer's voice wasn't Brandon's!
5. I made Mr. Flowers a birthday cake last year! Me and two friends threw him a little birthday party. The cake was delicious...and we made a play involving Brandon breaking up with his old band, Blush Response, and just generally having a great time for Brandon!
6. My friend Coco is pretty much sworn against Ronnie in every way...So we showed her the error of her ways today by writing "Coco+Ronnie" inside a heart, on her binder, as well as several other Killers things(Camo+Brandon!). If my friend RAH was correct, she was in the bathroom doing Social Studies homework(Is this true, Coco?). Obviously, Coco was sort of annoyed at me for the rest of the day...But, all for the sake of fangirling, right?
7. I think I have the most heavily decorated locker in creation. The pictures of The Killers is somewhere between 40 and 50! About 35 are of Brandon alone. My locker is very bright...And I get a lot of stares and "Who's he?" stuff, but it doesn't get to me. As long as my teachers don't ask about, or see, the pictures, I'm fine with it! It's good to have The Killers stalk me while I'm at school.
8. I never stop talking about The Killers. The people who know about my obsession include about 6 teachers, 20 people at school, and 30 people online. I now have friends who know bad member's names, song names, nicknames, and generally stuff you have to be a fan to understand. The don't understand the love I have for this band, but I still enjoy rambling on about them, when anyone is around.
9. Every day, I spend at least 1 hour on YouTube each day, looking at Killers stuff. Wether it be music videos, live performances, interviews, back stage randomness, or anything cute, funny, odd, evil, dark, or super addicting, I've watched it. There's not may YouTube videos bout The Killers that I haven't watched.
10. My Killers merchendise!

Stereotypes Suck. These Ones Do, At Least.
Hello,
Okay, first off, I'd like to declare Franz Ferdinand as our winner of our poll! I decided to close, it as it wasn't going anywhere. I've opened up a new poll, you have a week to vote! I've added quite a few answers, so I'll hopefully cover a lot of ground. I don't know if you can vote again or not, but If you can, feel free to do so. I'm pretty sure we all have an opinion on what I've posted.
Ah, stereotypes. There certainly is a lot I could say here. In most cases, I would give an epic rant about fake emo kids, and preppy Hollister girls. But for this rant, I'll talk only on English stereotypes, which I'm sick of hearing about. They're not true. Not to be offensive(In fact, don't be offended by anything said here!) but Americans are sort of stupid when it comes to anything outside their own country, it seems. I've decided to talk about a few specific things, that I get a lot of at school and around, that I'd like to "clear up", and talk about.
Accent. We don't all talk like the queen. I don't. In fact, very few people do speak like royalty nowadays. Believe it or not, there's more Englih accents than just one. Funny, huh? There's actually a lot. You don't have to be huge to have regional accents. It's not just the US, believe it or not. Most of the people I know speak with a "chav accent", basically the equivalant of talking like a gangster. It's generally considered not very intelligent, and there's a whole load of stereotypes that go with that. But actually, a decent ammount of those are true for the most part. When I was four, I decided I didn't want to talk like them, and I don't. I'm sort of odd like that. There's some other southern accents which I'm not too familiar with. And then there's northern accents. Most of which would leave most Americans saying "What the hell?" after they speak. Most of them sound nothing like the stereotypical English accent, actually. There's very few people who speak like you'd think.
Technology. Most people seem to think that England is stuck in the dark ages. We have the same technology as Americans do. So does most of the world. We've heard of everything Americans have. Do Americans think that being a small country leads to being excluded from the rest of the world? I get a lot of reminders of how America works by some kids at school, and it's annoying. Times have changed as much as yours' have. We're not stuck in the Dickensian times.
Appearance. English people do not have bad teeth. I do...Because I had some problem with my teeth when I was a kid. Quite frankly, Americans seems sort of obsessed with perfect teeth. A lot of the kids I see with braces looked like they didn't need braces in the first place. But, England does have orthodontists, and dentists, we just use braces and the like for, you know, kids that actually have unstraight teeth. Our teeth aren't all black from sugar. We dont dress all "proper" all the time. I hate dressing up. T-shirts and jeans for me, any day. The same goes for a lot of English kids. We don't always wear good pants, smart shirts, fancy dresses, or anything daily. We don't get dressed up any more than Americans do. We don't worship tartan. Besides, that's a confused stereotype. When you think that, you're actually thinking the Scottish. And, no, that's not true for them either. Basically, we look nothing like most people would think.
Music. This goes different ways for different people. Some would say we worship royal music, gospel, or opera. Others would say we worship The Beatles The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd. Of course, incorrect. Some people do, and that goes for every country. England has done a lot for the music industry, and is continuing to do so. England has an amazing musical vibe at the moment, which is miles ahead of America. We have American bands, and we have English bands. I actually think there's more music in England than the US at the moment. Not to be offensive, but we seem more open minded. If you're American, how many English bands do you hear about a lot? According to two girls today, Coldplay and James Blunt. If you're English, how many American bands do you hear about a lot? We seem more "accepting" or "understanding" of foreign music, for the most part. And unlike people think, I've heard rap music. I've heard hiphop music. I've heard metal. I've heard country. We're not different, much, when it comes to music. I know loads of English kids who love Green Day and Linkin Park, which goes for a majority of American kids too. But we do have our own bands. We're relivin' the 80s at the moment, basically. Something the US isn't understanding at the moment, they're too wound up in their pop-pnk music, it seems.
TV/Movies/Books. We don't worship Harry Potter. We know Twilight. Certainly, I like Harry Potter. But just because it's an English-based book, doesn't mean I want to talk about it at every living moment. We don't worship old-English poets and authors who write in "olde English"(For the record, we don't write like that anymore), Shakespeare, for example. We have heard of Family Guy and The Simpsons. In fact, we get a lot of American TV over here, especially when it comes to Kids' TV. Also, some people some to think English people are obsessed with Simon Cowell. Is this because he's the only English guy you know? I actually don't like American Idol. And we started the whole "Something Idol" craze, not Americans. And, we ge the same movies. And that's it.
That's all I can think of right now. Oh yeah...We don't love tea. I hate tea, good ol' American Coke for me, any day. Which goes for most of the English youth, also. We don't spend all day eating crumpets, fish and chips or anything. I don't "love" the Queen. I'm not very patriotic about my country, either. We're way less patriotic than Americans! We're not all schollars, educated, or civilised or anything. Acording to my LA teacher, we can't handle swear words either, wrong, of course.
Basically, we're not what you think. I'm just writing this post because I'm so tired of hearing all of them all the time. This won't change anything, of course. Americans, and the rest of the world, will always see England this way, as a little, proper, polite, anti-American, quiet little country. Keep on thinking that, if you want, we know we're not like that at all.
No offence to anyone.

I'm In Need Of Some Inspiration. And Some Direction To Perfection. Help Me Out, Yeah?
Hey there,
Like the title? More lyrics, except for the first part.
So, if you're as avid a blogger as I am, you might(like I do) spend all day thinking of what to write in your blog. Well, I sometimes do that. Sometimes I just pick upon the most insignifcant little thing in my life, and try my best to express my feelings toward it on here. There are some days when I'm completely struck dead(That's the weirdest exageration I have ever seen. What am I trying to say? I don't know. Oh well. Whatever. Nevermind) with ideas to write here. And then there are days, such as today, when there's nothing going on - Nothing to write about. There isn't too much hate going on with me today, or questions, or Killers raves, or school issues, or explosions of happiness. Sometimes I wish I were more random, less structured in my thinking. My scientific, uncreative, brain is quite something to deal with. I'm way better writing a diary than I am writing about anything unrelated to anything. That's why these posts are always the same and always so boring. Ah, if only I could spark more imagination in this skull. Wouldn't that be good. I might try to be random, But at the moment my brain is drained of ideas...So, here's some drivvle about nothing. Seriously, if there's anything, anything(I beg you!) you want me to talk about, rave about, express my opinion about, questions. or know about me, just tell me and I'll write it. All ideas are welcome. So today, I'll just talk about stuff that's been happening...
Thanks to all who voted/are voting in my poll. Because of (as you can tell) the new layout, I had to get rid of it and set it up again. I'm not sure how many days are left, but keep voting! I also added some new pictures! All of...you-know-who. He is gorgeous though. Most of the captions are stuff are song lyrics, if they don't really make much sense. He's got soul, but he's not a soldier!
Okay, so yesterday I found the weirdest thing. Type in "Brandon Flowers showman" into Google. Go to images. Click on the 4th image! My blog! Isn't it cool? Or creepy. Either which way.
Now, one of those paragraphs simply dedicated to "that one band". The Spaceman video came up on iTunes the other day...BUY IT! My iPod broke the day it came out, so I bought it the following day. As well as the All These Things That I've Done and and For Reasos Unknown music videos. Okay, I am so obsessed with All These Things That I've Done at the moment. All These Things was the first music video by The Killers that I ever saw...It's lovely. Haha, Brandon's in the shower, naked from the waist up(I'm presuming. You can't see below his waist, obviously. His extreme self-consciousness is so adorable!). And, after many watchings, I'm still struggling with the meaning of the music video. It makes no sense, or very little. Even Brandon can't work it out entirely, he said in an interview. But from what I can work out, the song+music video is about a man, trying to fight back his..."Natural instincts" and be good to his girlfriend. For example I need direction to perfection. He's saying it's hard, and he needs help. But, later onin the song at the I got soul but I'm not a soldier part, that he's only human(Or is he admitting he's only dancer? We may never know what he is!). The music video, if you work out a meaning, is actually an absolutely amazing music video. It's alligned into "scenes" and a girl holds up a number resembling the scene. But not in order. Apparently, if you arrange the numbers into order, it makes a simply story. I don't know. But, there's loads of little pieces to the music video. The band, embracing their Nevada spirit, are cowboys, fake mustaches and all. Then there are four women wandering around in revealing clothing. In most parts, teasing(They drive in a car, with the band on the roadside. The men are staring away, while the women try to encourage them to look) or simply chasing the men, around a desert town or through a maze/scrapyard. And then licking boomerangs and throwing them at the men. Isn't that lovely? At the beginning, it shows Brandon falling into a puddle, hit by a boomerang. This actually ties into the end of the video, as Brandon is the last man standly(Truly!) before being hit. These women, chasing them around, are part of the "natural male instinct" that the men are trying to avoid, to be good to their girlfriends. At a time, the men run up to a car, and pull out this sign, with "THEKILLERSLUTS" written across it in light bulbs. Then they stamp out the end of the word, resembling these women. See who these women are yet? At one point, Brandon walks into his house, his girlfriend there. He has a lipstick mark on his chin. After being slapped, this leads to the shower scene, where he's singing and punching his fist against the wall. Lovely, no sarcasm intended. At one point, Brandon is on a donkey. This is the one part I don't understand at all. During the first "I got soul" lines, Brandon is wandering around holding the remains of "TheKillersluts" sign, and actually saying "I got soul"! And then at the last "I got soul"s, the men and women are lined up. The women move forward, while the men move back synchrosingly. So, this song is literally "Boys vs girls" but more maturely, in every sense. About a man trying to undo his "sins", and fight back his "male instincts". And now you know everything you need to know about the title of my blog.
Anyway, both Spaceman and For Reasons Unknown are great videos also. Spaceman is...odd. But cool. And For Reasons Unknown gets very little respect and recognition for the amazing music video that it is. It's simple. Once again, they're cowboys in the desert. And they're singing, riding horses, and eating Brandon's head for a meal. Seriously! Dave, Mark and Ronnie are evil(Coco, does that answer your "If you were stuck on a desert island, which of your band mates would you eat first?" question?). I love the appearances too. By that I mean, Dave, Mark, and Ronnie are very dressed-down in baggy, brown clothes with matching horses while Brandon is ina sparkly white jacket and hat, with a white horse. It's cute! And even cuter is the fact that For Reasons Unknown is the only song in which Brandon has to play bass, and it's adorable how his eyes have to keep flicking back to the guitar instead of his usual Somebody Told Me-esque enthusiastic performances. I love it all. Killers=love.
I guess school has been okay these past couple of days. For some reason, my brain has seemed to have wiped some memory of Friday, so I don't know what to say...We got new seats in Science. 'cept I didn't move. At all. I'm in the same seat, which is good. For some reason, I can't stand being in the front of the class. It gets me all paranoid or something. I like being in the back, even though my back is to the clock(Which I hate!!). Although the people I'm sitting with I don't like. In my last group, I was with two guys...One of which was nice, but the other is probably the most arrogant and annoying child you will ever meet. You know, the sort who makes innapropriate jokes, laughs at a guy simply because he's in a purple box on a t-shirt I own, plays drums with pencils, never stops talking, and seems to think he's cooler than everyone else. So, this time I'm stuck with two girls. One of which, I was next to in Science before. She's okay. The other I despise with a passion. She's one of those girls who has to say "Oh my god!" and "I know, right?" thing after every other word she says. Very preppy. And, in the brief time that I was sitting at her table Friday, the only thing she and the other girl talked about was how "scary" they thought someone was. In Social Studies I presented a "current event"...About how Pansonic is dying, slowly and painfully. I really couldn't care less about Panasonic, I'm not exactly dying for a plasma TV right now. I wanted to do one on the same situation, but with Burger King, but the article was really short. I don't even like Burger King. But when I see "Island Records Shutting Down Due To Financial Problems" I'll be worried. Really worried. LA we had a vocab quiz. I knew all but one word anyway, so it was no problem writing a story.Although, the people in my classes were being idiots. "Test" never has and never will mean "Mess around, laugh, giggle, be innapropriate, swear, walk around the room, walk outside, get your teacher to sing, or throw pencils", so I don't know where the other kids got that idea from. Spanish was hell again. I hate my partners to the bone. I had to make "Shakaespere's book", AKA "Go away so we can talk about how weird you are, CamoLambo" time.
But this Saturday has sort of been a drag. I need to start some homework. The jeans I wanted to wear were in the wash. I'm bored. My sister has a friend round. We didn't get to see "Coraline" or go snow tubing like I suggested(The one active activity worth my time). I have no more magazines to cut out(Though I need to stick them up today...). There isn't much on the TV. I've completed the puzzle I've been working on. It's pretty cold outside. I don't like snow much. Not many people have uploaded YouTube videos or blog posts for me to look at. So, my day has been slow. I've watched over 2 1/2 hours of The Catherine Tate Show episodes on DVD today and have been online otherwise. Having my sister's friend round really limits what I can do. I can't really stay on the "good" computer for very long, or play my music loud, or anything. But here's the thing - My sister's friend needs a life beyond my sister. They've seen each other outside of school..Like, 5 days this week alone. What is wrong with her? My sister isn't particularly interesting or anything. But the same thing goes for my 7-year old neighbour. She is obsessed with her. The only reason she isn't living here is because her mother isn't that gullable! It's odd, really. This year, I got a Christmas card from her saying "Dear CamoLambo, merry Christmas! Do you have your tree yet? Ours is big. You're really nice, but your sister is nicer. Bye!" @.@
Also, for anyone English reading...You may or may not know that an English magazine and new website The Sun published a story the other day saying that Brandon and Ronnie are having huge fights. Other newspapers picked up on the story. It's wrong. The Sun doesn't deserve to write anything anway. They really should die. They were just twisting Brandon's words, and then using Brandon's religion(Mormon) vs Ronnie's religion(Christian) as a logical excuse for an argument. How low can you get? So, they have religious differences. So do people in many bands. And I have religious differences to friends. Do we argue? No. Is religion a big deal? No. And even for bands who are very religious, such as The Killers, it still doesn't effect them. You know, I very much doubt they've ever said a word about religion to each other. Ever since The Killers came out, Brandon's religion as been a hot topic of conversation and questions for interviewers. It's no big deal. Not to them, not to fans, not to listeners, no one should care. Brandon and Ronnie are fantastic friends, and they never argue, more than the average friends do...Even about religion or politics. The Sun used religion as an explanation of an argument. Truly, how low can you get? I've lost utter respect for that pathetic newspaper, and for any person who continues to use Brandon's religion in such a way. Die die die, pathetic losers.
So, yeah that's it for now. Pretty much. I'm off to rant on AnimalCrossingCommunity.com about why UGGs, Pete Wentz(ha!), and 16 year old dudes who worship Def Leopard suck. Good day.
Bye,

It's Not Like I've Got Anything Better To Do Now, Have I?
Anyway, I just found out about this news 15 or so minutes ago. and it may only be three days, but I will experience some sort of a "nervous breakdown" over the course of the next 72 hours. So, instead, I'm blogging. Expect a blog every day because of this. So, I know my blog posts never have one main "point" to it, like most blogs, simply because I find it hard to just stick to one topic. I love writing, and I write for my own enjoyment, not so the rest of the world can hear me write random posts about whatever. Obviously, I have nothing wrong with that, in fact, every blog other than mine I have read isn't as much of a diary as mine is, and I love it! But this is my "style", and I fill it out with hate, rambing, ranting, and updates. And this blog post will be particularly boring. I know that Coco has been awaiting this post since yesterday, but expect to be thuroughly dissapointed.
Hey, I just realised something...Listen to Mr, Brightside loud on your iPod with your left earphone out. It sounds odd at the beginning. Or maybe it's just me.

With Magic Soakin' My Spine, Can You Read My Mind? Another CamoLambo Own Rant!
Hey there,
Sorry 'bout the weird title, the two sentences didn't really "go", but I love the song I'm quoting...Slippin' in my faith until I fall, you never returned that call...
Okay, so here's a short, very short, rant...Sort of.
Okay, so at the moment I'm working on this 1000-piece puzzle, which is taking forever. While I was doing it yesterday, my sister was watching Spongebob in the other room. And then came the commercials, when I heard one advertising...Alvin And The Chimpunks. What the hell?! I went in, and discovered Alvin And The Chipmunks were releasing an album. From what I know, the only albums Nick advertises are Now That's What I Call Music, Number "Oh god, not another one", "Kidz Bob", The Naked Brothers Band, and now - Alvin and The Chimpmunks.
Now, seriously, what on Earth would want you to buy an Alvin And The Chipmunks CD? I basically exploded to my sister about the stupidity of the situation, but she said "It's cool" or something like that.
What's the big deal? I just checked the page on Wikipedia, the only decent songs are Blink 182's "All The Small Things", Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer", and Journey's "Don't Stop Beleiving"., which in instelf is an odd choice of a songlist. Nick, are we trying to introduce six year olds into 80s and 90's music? Either way, if you like Livin' On A Prayer then...Just go to iTunes and buy Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer. Why get a chipmunk version? Oh, there voices are all "high" and "cute"! Does that really make a difference? For the most part, the company have just bought some songs and sped the voices up!
And this isn't hard to do. Go to YouTube, and type in the name of a song. As long as the band isn't unheard, the song isn't a B-side or unreleased onto an album, there's a 99% chance you'll find a "Chipmunk version" out there. Why? Because anyone can make a "chipmunk version". All you need, I believe, is Windows Movie Maker. So if you're so very desperate to hear Jon Bon Jovi's voice really squeaky, why go pay money to hear it, when you can do it at home in the time space of a couple of minutes? I just don't get it...
Why pay money? It's just a high-pithced voice. The Chipmunks aren't even real, why not simply call the album "Undeniable, by Windows Movie Maker"? That's all it is. I'm guessing it's the stereotypicall "cute" faces behind the squeaky song, that gives the the incentive to buy. Obviously, there's no cute face behind the music. None of it is real, it's just ther peoples' songs being sold off by "Alvin And The Chipmunks", to 6 year olds. And it's not like they don't know the Chipmunks are't real.
So yeah. The whole concept of Alvin And The Chipmunks releasing albums angers me. Don't do it, whoever the company is! That's it.
I'd just like to say, I spent a lot of time last night proving to my sister that any song can be Chipmunk-ed. Take On Me was hilarious. And I thought the original was using a high voice!
Well, that was a short and pointless rant. But, why not? I don't have too much else to say about anything. School was very...schooly today. Forced to put another couple of coats onto "Big Ben"(Big Ben is blinding) and had to make towers out of marshmallows and spaghetti in Engeniring(Weird, yes. Fun, no.) Once again, we had double block periods today(Which, oddly, seem to be getting less and less boring as I get used to them. Actually, I guess that isn't odd), In LA I got "essay of the week". And I couldn't be more annoyed by it. Basically, I'm just trying to prove a point to my LA teacher by trying not to read to the class at all this year. So far it's been two, for two essays of the week. But this is becoming a major set back in this. This is also just feeding everyone's stereotypes of me. Some people deserve to die(Random darkness!). I also just spent the last period of the day wandering around, writing about The Killers, and admiring the pictures in my locker. Just thought I'd mention that my locker is the most obsessivly decorated in the grade, if not the school. Or in existance - Who knows?! There's somewhere between 40 and 50 pictures on a little 3 by 2(I'm guessing) feet surface. I'd say about 35 are Brandon alone. It's actually pretty bright to look at, and I get a lot of stares. But, at least they know I'm dedicated - Even if many of them don't know who the people in the pictures are. I just added, I think, four from the concert. Yays. They're pretty.
Speaking of pictures, I'm getting really obsessive about pictures at the moment. My Killers posters from Christmas arrived a couple of das ago, and I put them up in my room! One of them is on the wall behind me, one is on the slanting wall to my left, and one at the back of the room, on top of my desk. Two are duplicates, but it doesn't matter. I also had to go out to Barnes and Noble yesterday simply for the purpose of getting duplicates of the magazines featuring The Killers, so I get all pictures. I started cutting some out yesterday, and I'll finish tonight or tomorrow. And there wasn't a duplicate of American Songwriter, so I'm buying it off eBay. How sad am I?
Oh yeah, we went out the apple store yesterday to get a case for my iPod! And now my iPod is...the neon tiger!
A couple last things to say to some people. Rachel, even though you aren't reading, sorry about losing that bet. Only 2 days to go!
Happy birthday, Alex(bjduck on ACC)!
Socky, I'll be sad not to see you on ACC during the week - I'll miss you!
Lastly, I've added a new poll - Best non English/American bands. And I know, a lot of them are no-name bands to Americana, but to me there's a couple of obvious great choices. There's also a band that is English or American. Guess who it is, and you get mentioned!
Bye, got a 4-page essay to do.
