My New Year's Eve Blog Post.

Title says it all. In just 6 1/2 hours, 2008 will be over, which means 2009.

Yesterday on the radio, a radiohost woman started going on about the new year. Talking about all the disastes that have happened in the past 12 months. Global warming, economy, war, gas prices, ect... She was sort of losing it at one point. And then continued to say how hapy she was to have a new year and to leave all of that behind us. No. Just no. Chaning the last digit of the year we live in isn't gonna take all that away. In fact, chaning the digit is moving us closer to the death and destruction of everything we have now, surely. What's there to be happy about? I certainly hope the rest of the country isn't thinking the way she was. She seemed like she was on something.

My general review of the year has been terrible, pretty much the worst year of my life. Despite what you might think, I'm not overreacting when I say that. maybe it's part of being in middle school anyway. Maybe it's moving country and not being able to fit into my new school. Maybe it's more homework and school stress. Maybe... just growing up. *shudder* Maybe it's getting used to where I am now. Whatever it was, 2008 was a total mess. That's not to say 2009 will be any different. At least now I never I shouldn't bother trying to fit in at school, and I should find friends elsewhere(Thank you ACC!) The most posotive thing was discovering The Killers. Due to a mix of all over the list above, February was the worst month of my life. Which made me discover The Killers, and music in general. Before that, I was just a kid who listened to the music the Now That's What I Call Music CDs handed to me. Now I'm a kid who listens and loves the best music in the world, in my opinion. And a girl who fell in love with everythig Killers, and would never turn back. I feel like The Killers are everything to me now, and I don't want to think who I would be without them.

Also, this year will be the year that I will turn 13. Shocker. I feel like I'm dreading this birthday. The media makes out that when you turn 13, everything changes. My parents know that too. I already act like a teenager anyway...

With the new year dawning, this means my return to my little world of misery. School. For the past few weeks, I've been looking ahead to this time off. Now I have to look ahead to February. Terrific. There is no way I want to go back there. A world of preps, idiots, and close-minded freaks with no respect for anyone remotely "out of the ordinary", like myself.

However, I do have a few things to look forward to in the future. First being the concert. Not too long now! My new years resolution is to do whatever possible to meet TK. I mean, at least one of them. All four would be nice. Secondly, my Killers Membership pack from The Victims has been shipped. Should arrive within a couple of weeks. I've also discovered that The Victims has a store I can gt stuff from, including a tonne of t-shirts. Me being me, I don't like the women's shirts, so I'm buying all the guys shirts instead. One has a picture of the band on it! I also want these Kilers buttons. To, of course, make my backpack look even more odd. Equaly as killer, and important, the Spaceman music video, and followng msic videos and singles from Day And Age. I'm excited at the moment! It's gonna be great. Moving on, I plan on printing out some more pictures for my school locker. Eye candy. I feel like there's an uneven Brandon vs Dave, Mark, Ronnie split in my locker. I found a great one of Ronnie yesterday, which I will use. And the one in my past post, because I love it! Great shot. He does that same pose in the Romeo video, which always gets me overexcited if I pause it...

Yes, those were all Killers related. My life is boring and pointless anyway.

Don't be surprised if I post some more stuff tonight. I'm staying up for most of the night anyway. I'm gonna drink Coke, read blogs, go online, get bored, eat Gingerbread, and make a 2009 poster with my aunt and sister. And not going to the New Years Eve party I was invited to. Full of random freaks, once more.

Bye for now! Not too long left!

Are we Human? Or Are We Dancer? ...Or Are We Brandon Flowers Fangirls?

Hi

Posting this in black today. The colors in my old posts lately have been annoying me. Like the title? I feel like every website I've joined, I've had to mention the "Are We Human? Or Are We Dancer?" lyrics. It seems this blog has missed out. Now we're all even, aren't we? After around two months of this song being released, it never got boring, even now. That's amazing, even for a Killers song. I'm listening to a Human radio remix. Very interesting. Very synthesizer-y. Very amazing. I have four others on my iPod also. The Human remixes EP came out about a month ago. Anyway, my favorite Killers songs at the moment are-

-Human-

-Mr. Brightside-

-A Dustland Fairytale-

-Somebody Told Me-

-Read My Mind-

-Romeo And Juliet-

-Spaceman-

Yep, The Killers are incredible in every way. Re-discovering Read My Mind has been a good experience. One of the first TK songs I heard, and fell in love with, so it's deja vu, I think.

Anyway, The Killers have one a load of awards lately, for Day And Age. Expected, yes. Look on The Killers website if you want to know, I'm not naming all of them! I'm surprised they didn't do as well in the UK as I thought, being one of the most popular band there right now. The Killers were never very popular around here, but they're getting a good ammount of airplay now. I heard Spaceman twice yesterday. And Read My Mind a few days ago, while I was listening to it on my iPod.

The Killers have finally found a man for the job! The job in hand being the Spaceman music video, of course. Don't know who it is though. Filming starts January 7th, and the video will be released later in the month. Seeing as Human was relatively low-key and quick, I reckon this one will be huge. Another Read My Mind video, please!

Anyway, I should probably post a good pictures of these guys now. Enjoy. And I will speak more tomorrow!

I don't know...Killers stuff. Yeah, that works.

The One Thing Better In Life Than Addiction - Obsession

Hi

In this world that we live in, there's only one thing better than addiction, and that's obsession. I seriously don't know why I'm writing this, but it's true. At some point in every person's life, you become completely obsessed with at least one thing. Wether that's a band, a clothes store, a movie, a book, a vampire, a car, a dog, a song, a TV show, your teacher, an instrument, a boy, or a Vegas rockstar with experimental facial hair. It's gonna happen. I seem to have a reasonably addictive personality. So...welcome to a blog post about obsession, I suppose. Especially my obsessions, of course.

First off, my number one obsession. The Killers. Need I say anything more? Anyone who's ever said anything to me knows I'm completely and utterly obsessed with these men. You know, when you're five years old, and wake up on Christmas morning to see presents under the tree? That's...how I feel about The Killers. That sounded sort of cheesy. It's true, however. Their Duran Duran/u2/Oasis/Depeche Mode/The Cure/The Smiths/Bruce Springsteen sounding music definantly has an auro of...magic around out. Now I'm sounding really cheesy, right? Who knew eyeliner, synthesizers, tumbleweeds, disco drum beats, and feathery suits could combine to form such an obsessive mix.

I seem to have an obsession with Matthew Bellamy at the moment. I'm messed up. But he's cool. I read an interview a while back with some cool questions. I love the way Matt answered some of then...Very...Matt-ish. He's awesome, in every way. He's super addicting!!!!!!!!!! And then there's his music...

Moving on. Comedy. Comedy comedy comedy. Little Britain is, without a doubt, the funniest show ever made. Anyone who can do a decent Andy Pipkin and Lou Todd impersonation(And very few can) is worthy of knighthood. Matt and David are completely amazing and obsessive. I've come to a point where I have to watch at least one episode a day. The same goes for other UK comedy shows, like Catherine Tate. The "ginger" sketches just never got old. Or the "Nan" sketches. Rock on UK post-watershed TV.

This very blog in fact, and all blogs in general, have become sort of obsessive. It seems that at the moment, I wake up and think - a)Brandon. b)What should I write in my blog today? As you can tell, I've been writing this blog pretty much every day at the moment. I love writing about "whatever"(Quoting my profile), even though I'm pretty bad at writing anything. I decided to start my profile yesterday, forgetting the 1200 characters max rule. I'd written a paragraph. I became obsessed with shortening it down, and ended up using abreviations that only I would know.

I also can't live without my Top Gear. Three men without lives play with cars and make idiots of themselves. What more could one want? So so sooooo obsessed. And, unlike most fans think, there's more to TG than Hammond and his Tipex teeth. Seriously, Captian Slow never got the attention he deserved. Once you get past that fact, than you're truly obsessed with TG.

80s pop music. Enough said.

Stupid stuff some to be easy things to become obsessed with. For example - fish. Don't ask why. I ran downstairs at the speed of light earlier because I knew that we were having fish. Very very odd, I know. A while back, it was sharpies. I believe I said something about Sharpies a while back on this blog. Also, the lyrics to Dire Straights' "Romeo And Juliet" are incredibly obsessive and addictive. I don't know, maybe Brandon singing them makes them obsessive. Thinking about it, yeah, that's probably why. Random obsessing is so much fun...

I've met many people in my life - Many I could have done without meeting, but anyway. I've met people who are obsessed with drummers, dead rockstars(You know who you are...), Edward Cullen, the pictures of Lamborghinis in my school locker, perfection, sports, school, randomness, and everything inbetween. Obsessing is an extremely important foundation of individuality and being human(Or dancer. Whichever fits you better. There I go again...) The one thing in life better than addiction- obsession

That was deep, and cheesy. Bye.

Who on Earth is/are Lady GaGa? And Other Boring Stuff.

Hello to all readers

The title speaks truth. Who is(Or who are) lady GaGa? Where has this person or persons come from?! Seriously, music and trends move so fast these days. A couple of weeks ago, there was this big pop concert that happens every year called The Jingle Ball, and everyone who went were wearing t-shirts the next day. The Jingle Ball definantly isn't my kind of music. Basically full of the most popular artists and bands around today. The t-shirts had a list of the performers on the back. Mostly boring people. That guy from American Idol, Secondhand Serenade, Ne-Yo, people like that. But written in big letters(suggesting they're a very popular band/artist) was Lady GaGa. What?! Who?! How do I not know this person/persons(I really should find out if it's a band or artist...)?! Since then, it has been everywhere. I can't say that even if I knew anything about them, I'd find them particularly impressive or anything.

Anyway, I think I've completely forgotten everything else I was planning on saying in this blog post just there. There's a load of stuff I've been meaning to say in the blog, but I seem to be stretching out my posts a lot now(Am I becoming less of a n00b yet?), so I'll have to leave it for now. I'll hopefully try to write something planned tomorrow. Planned and boring. I need to spice this blog up a bit, huh? I've got something fun I've been meaning to write here for a while anyway, so I'll do so in a few days,

Bye!

Our Hopes And Expectations. Mindblowing Guitar Solos And Revelations.

Hi!

I love Muse.

I love Muse.

I love Muse.

^This is basically how I feel right now. Last night I watched HAARP(CD/DVD). It's a video of Muse playing at Wembley Arena last year. It was THE MOST AMAZING DVD EVER! Loads of people today say Muse are one of the best live bands around. They speak truth. I can't sum up how amazing it was. I now really badly want to see Muse live. Also, Muse, Kaiser Chiefs, Nirvana, and Weezer have been "fighting" out for a while to be my 2nd favorite band. Looks like we just found a winner! Congrats Matt, Chris, and Dominic(Yep, I totally know their names now

.)!

For those who don't know Muse(I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't) then I'll tell you, basically, they're an alternative rock band from the South-West of England. They're based heavily on guitar and piano. They certainly are a weird mix. Those of you who are familiar with Radiohead will know the sort of style that Matt sings in. It's quite clever really.

Watching the DVD, it seems that Muse are there for gothic guys in their 20s who use Muse when they require something "lighter and more mellow" to listen to inbetween runs of AC/DC and Metallica. I can quite easily see myself being killed in that moshpit. Still, it would have been an unforgetable experiance. Especially in Knights of Cydonia, when everyone in the audience raised their "horn-ed hands" into the air on the heavy drums beats. Amazing.

According to my mom and aunt who were also watching, Matt has a wierd appearance. Apparently Chris looks better. I disagree. Maybe it's because Matt looks sort of short and scrawny compared to Dom and Chris. But does Brandon look particularly muscular compared to Ronnie, Mark, and Dave? I think not! And he looks amazing too.

Best part of the whole thing was when Matt raises his eyebrow on the "Ooh"s in Supermassive Black Hole!

And the intro. They come up on a raised platform, staring into the sky, and with Matt's hand on his heart. Matt was wearing a red suit, Chris in a gray suit with black Converse, and Dom in a t-shirt and skinny lime green pants. An...eye-catching sight. I'd say they were just a little on the "too tight" side, considering he's a guy.

And then there's their playing ability. Wow. Matt on guitar is amazing. He's such a showman! He sort of ran, jumped, sang, and playing his guitar like their was no tomorrow for two hours straight! His guitars were pretty cool also. There was this sparkly red Fender he played in the first few songs that looked pretty impressive. His ability on the piano was just as good! The guy certainly isn't afraid to show off what he can do...

Chris is pretty good too. The whole bass line in Hysteria is amazing. And the ocassional smile throughout the performance was an up-lifting experience.

Last of all - Dom! Are all drummers insane? Ronnie and Dom certainly are. Dom would take the show if he could. He's drumming ability is really good. I read a while back the he was 80-something best drummer ever! Unlike guitarists, I'm so glad good drummers aren't dying. The way he sort of held his mouth half open throught the performance was a somehow nice thing to look at.

Overall, I love Muse so much today. Post more tomorrow, bye!

My fingers Hurt - And A Christmas Review

Hey!

Merry Christmas everyone! Late, I know. But still...Hope you all had a good one!

As you have probably realised by now, my blog just went under a total revamp. Like it? I'm pretty happy with it. I renamed my blog and added a picture on the side. I'm just happy I'm back to my computer. My mom and aunt dragged me to go on a "bracing walk" today. I hate nature with a passion. It was soooo boring. I mean, we live in 2008. The human race is probably gonna die away soon anyway, so shouldn't we be treasuring technology while we have it?

I really didn't sleep much on Christmas Eve night. I woke up at four and couldn't get to sleep until around five. Then my sister woke me up at seven to inform me that Santa had come.

As far as Christmas presents go, I'm lucky. Santa brings some presents, and then I get some for my parents. This year, my parents hadn't bought anything until a week before Christmas, so they "panic-shopped" and ended up buying too much!

From Santa, I got a lot of cheap, yet somehow entertaining, little things that we all know and love. One of which was a place mat with The Periodic Table Of Elements On it. This, of course, reminded me of an absolutely hilarious sketch from The Catherine Tate Show. Also, sticking out of the bag, was...a poster. Hmm, a poster? What could it be? One thing - The Killers poster! Ahhh! Yay! Woot! Looks like Santa knows his stuff. My sister also got a poster of "Bolt". My Dad says "That's a Cute Picture", and my mom says "Which one? Bolt, or Brandon?"

Opening presents was the best part of the day. It took a while, but it was still cool. I'll post some pictures of the stuff I got another time. The most surprising thing was a book - "Destiny Is Calling Me". It's an autobiography of The Killers! I didn't even know it existed! As far as more Killers stuff goes, I got a Killers sweatshirt(Wearing it at the moment). And I also have a Killers 2009 calender and another Killers poster in the mail, to arrive soon. With the money I got, I'm going to buy more Killers stuff.

Other favorite stuff I got included...A pair of low top maroon Converse. Totally cool. I'm going to wear these with my maroon Killers T-shirt for the concert in January!

Ah, a reminder! The Killers concert is exactly one month away!

I also got two Star wars lego sets, which I'm going to start later, A Nirvana T-shirt, CDs(Bleach - Nirvana, HAARp - Muse, and Pinkerton - Weezer) All are very good albums. In particular, HAARP is amazing. I also got Guitar Hero On Tour Decades, and Tamagotchi Connection Corner Shop 3 for my DS. And a radio/music player which I'm going to get set up some time today. And Warriors: Long Shadows(Even though I've yet to finish the last book)

And of course - My wonderfully amazing electric guitar! I played for around an hour this morning, and the tips of my fingers are still hurting. Believe me, there is nothing more pleasurable in life(Well, other than a couple of things...) than turning the amp up super high and playing a chord so the whole world can hear. The guitar came with a DVD, so I was watching some of that. I've learned to play E, A, and D triads. Watch out bloggers, the next Dave Keuning is on her way up!

I spent most of Christmas Day yesterday eating chocolates and playing with the stuff I got. The two games are great! The book is also very good. It has some great pictures. Including one from Brandon's highschool yearbook, one where Brandon is holding the hand of their old drummer, and one where Mark is dressed more like he belonged in Nirvana and The Killers! He looks amazing like that.

I'll leave you now to once again enjoy everything I got yesterday, and return my finger tips to more pain. Merry late Christmas!

My Fingers Hurt. And a Christmas Review.

Hey

Well...Christmas is over. Despite my previous anxiety, it was actually really good. Not as good as it used to be, hoewveer. Maybe due to the fact that I'm living in a different country, and my grandparents aren't staying with us. But my aunt is, which is fun.

Anyways, Christmas eve night I woke up at around 4 and couldn't get to sleep for an hour. Then my sister woek me up at 7 to inform me that Santa had come, so I'm a bit tired at the moment. My sister dragged me out of bed to open the presents Santa had brought. In our house, Santa brings some stuff, and we get stuff from our relatives. It's a good deal. They were mostly cheap, yet entertaining, little things that I crave, for some reason. I got a place mat of the Periodic Table of Elements! That, of course, reminded me of an absolutely hilarious sketch from The Catherine Tate Show. Other stuff included some clay and a little fishing game. Sticking out of the bag was...a poster. Hmm, a poster, what could that mean? Only one thing - THE KILLERS POSTER! I nearly died. And in the picture, Brandon has facial hair, so it was a Sam's Town-era poster. It's just...beautiful. Looks like Santa knows his stuff.

Christmas Eve And Such

Hey

So...it's Christmas. Christmas Eve, technically. Usually on this time of year, I would be jumping up and down like an idiot, and screaming how much I can't wait for Christmas.

This year, I'm not. I don't know why..everything this year has seemed different anyway. That's not to say I 'm excited for Christmas - I am! But it's just not as exciting as when I was younger. Am I growing up too fast? I certainly hope not.

Looking through some old blog posts, I've realised that in the past, I've typed like such a n00b with grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors everywhere. Just ignore them. I'm not a preppy 11-year-old n00b who types like that. I just never look over whatever I write! Hopefully, I'll try to type more maturely. I'm still finding the perfect balance between preppy n00b typer and depressed teenage typer. A hard balance to find.

I got my big Christmas gift today, an electric guitar! I haven't opened it yet, seeing as I'm not aloud to until tomorrow. This morning, I was woken up early to drive for 30 minutes to a guitar store. Inside, a guy with long black hair and a noise ring directed us around the shop and I came out with a beginner Fender, in red. I had my eye on a particularly nice Gibson, but it was, of course, too expensive.

I have an unhealthy fangirl obsession with "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure at the moment. Fantastic song. 80s pop shall never die!

My school got out on Tuesday(about time!), yay! We had a team breakfast(I had my braces tightened the day before - It was hard to eat), looked at some slideshows(Yawn...) and played a "Recognise the picture" game. Needless to say, I sucked at it. I cannot for my life recognise presidents. and I don't typically follow the various Hollywood news, so I sucked at that too. I did recognise Bono from U2, whcih was good. I find it hard to believe many other people my age would have got that one, but I was surprised. Clearly legends die hard, even in this hip-hop obsessed world that we live in.

Strange question. Why does everyone consider "Elf" to be the best Christmas movie ever made? It's slightly funny and entertaining, but it isn't hugely impressive.

New Killers Christmas song up on iTunes! Buy it now! It's amazing. Any song featuring Elton John and Neil Tennant has got to be good, right? Right?!

Well, I don't have much more to say right now. I'll talk about Christmas another time, and possibly post a picture of my guitar.

Bye! Merry Christmas!

Pointless Stuff

Hey there.

It's been a little while since I posted, I guess. I'm only doing this because I'm bored, like always.

Nothing much has changed since I last posted. Other than the greatest news EVER. The Killers are coming to BOSTON, JANUARY 26TH! Oh yeah, I'm going. I'm fairly close, to the stage, but my mom wouldn't let us get floor tickets. And I'm looking for backstage passes.

Time to update on The Killers. DAY AND AGE is finally here! I haven't got my copy yet though, since I ordered it from Barnes And Noble. It should be good. I've checked out most of the songs on YouTube, and my favorite(Other than Human and Spaceman) is Losing Touch. Which, coincidentally, is also Brandon's favorite. There are gonna be four singles, each with a different band member on the cover. Dave was on Human. Brandon will most likely be on Losing Touch. I think Ronnie will be on Spaceman. Not sure about the 4th single! Hopefully it will be Neon Tiger, with Mark on it. They've performed on SNL, The Tonight Show, and Jimmy Kimmel. All included Human! I love the Jimmy Kimmel Skit. The Killers were playing an lovely game of Strip Poker. Unfortunatly, Brandon was winning...

A while back, I had to go to "Camp Kieve Leadership School" with my school grade. It sucked. Especially the air guitar competition. More specifically, the song we had to dance to. AND one of the guys' cabins got to do Sweet Child O Mine.

My life as about as boring as ever. I just got the new Guitar Hero game. Honestly, I'm dissapointed with the song list. Other than The Killers DLC. Also, I recently purchased Little Britain USA, Katherine Tate Comic Relief, and the Katherine Tate box set. I love them all! LBUSA was a little disspointing. But Katherine Tate is awesome! My favorite character is Nan!

Ah, school. Dreaded school. I hate it more than ever! We're making our on 12 Bar Blues in music, but that's about the only fun thing we're actually doing. I now hate my science and LA teachers more than ever. They want me to "get involved more". Yeah, right. It's war. I'm gonna show them I can do whatever I want. The pathetic rats.

Ayway, regretably, time's come to send you on your way.

Bye!

I don't feel like blogging...

HI! So, I don't fell like blogging...mainly because I have no clue what to talk about. But i'll give it a go...By the way, that title reminds me of I Don't Feel Like Dancing...Bad song, but anyway...

PARAGRAPH 2! You guessed it-my day! Our project is actually "coming together". A bit. It's still rubbish. And my Spanish quiz went well...I think I got 100%, or close to it. And we did Singing Telegrams in music! Er...annoying. We looked all over the school for the guidance councelor, before giving up. And...er MATH was SOOOOOOOOOOOO boring! I hated every second. I hate school. I could't care less about everything we do.

I'm so loving Shadowplay at the moment! Great song. I want the original. I just got to the solo! LOVE IT!

I really don't want to do this at the moment, so I'LL DO MORE TOMORROW BYE!

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Hola! Como estas?

thatHi!

Yeah, so the title, well I have a Spanish quiz tomorrow and i'm currently studying like crazy. I dislike Spanish, but the quizzes are relatively easy. So i'm gonna completely slack off in class, and work on doing well in quizzes! Even though I don't like Spanish...I'm so happy I got it instead of Latin or French. I hear the Latin kids get loads of homework and really hard quizzes all the time! Then again, I think Latin is naturally the hardest language anyway.

TIME TO SUMMARIZE MY DAY! Er....according to my Social Studies teacher she is most worried about my project group...YAY! I dislike her, so it's good to annoy her. And all my other teachers for that matter, but anyway... That's all I can think of!

We actually got to PRACTICE in music today! We're doing Withcy Woman and Werewolves of London. Not my favorite, but they're ok. And tomorow we're starting "singing telegrams" which basically involves singing one of our songs to a teacher. I'm playing guitar in both songs. I'm sort of half hoping, half dreading, getting my 6th grade Social Studies teacher(HATE HATE HATE!) Because well...I despise him with a passion, but he's really seixst, and I don't think he thinks girls can play a "macho" instrument like the guitar...I'LL SHOW HIM!

Haha, what else shall I talk about today? I still haven't found my lime green Sharpie..

Oh yeah i'm currently starting a Lou And Andy Collage. I'm sticking pictures of them on a piece of paper...Because they're just that awesome. I've currently started on a red and blue striped border.

Well that's about all I can think of today...

Bye!

DAY AND AGE!

Hello everyone!

My day was okay today(surprising) I just got done with homework. I feel like i'm finally getting back into the school routine...sad. And yes, before you ask. I did get the Keane album. I, strangely, haven't got round to putting it on my iPod yet. But I will do sometime tonight! So happy about that...Now i'm really sick of our project, I HATE IT so much! It took up 3 periods today! Crazy...

Yes, so..album art! Yeah, why not...I am currently admiring the Keane album art. It actually matches the title "Perfect Symmetry". Always good. and while Google searching, like a lot of my internet time, I discovered the DAY AND AGE album art! Yeah, i've posted a picture. My opinion...very good. These guys choose their artists. I really like the overal colors...but I just can't beat Hot Fuss. Although the cover made no sense, it was creative, i'll give them that. And I loved that...and the Day And Age cover s growing at me every time I see it! Much better than Sam's Town...that was a little...bland and boring. No affense to them...because they ROCK!

Ok...moving on...Just thinking about it, I type a lot in capitals, don't I?

Ok, well...I just watched American Dad for the 2nd time yesterday...Boy, this show is growing on me. It can never compete with Family Guy, but it's still AMAZING!

Oh yeah, talking of stupid shows, I picked up a Simpsons DVD for the first time in...a year. Just reminding me of how cool this show is! I was watching this one when Homer, Bart, and Lisa go to Holapalooza. LOVE IT! Especially know that I recognice the bands. I LOVED that they used The Smasing Pumpkins in it...They strangely do resenble The Smashing Pumpkins, especially the singer.

Oh and one last thing...SHARPIES! You've got to love them! I am currently missing a light green ina set of 12, which I need rather badly. My current project is making a page with sharpies about Little Britain/Andy Pipkin I'm completely not creative, but i'm gonna give it a go. For Andy!

Ok, so bye now!

Monday, October 13, 2008

Eh eh eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh

Er, HI!

Ok, the title is the catchphrase of the wonderful Anne of Little Britain. Yeah, I was watching some videso of Little Britain USA earlier, and had to post something about her...Actually, i've been watching a lot of Little Britain today!

Ok, so today was somehow more boring than yesterday! My neighbors were round AGAIN. Oh and by the way, I just typed in my beighbor's name into Google and it came up with a picture of an old man! Yeah, funny.

Oh yeah I got 5 NEW SONGS on my iPod. Flux by Bloc Party( LOVE!), Teenagers by My Chemical Romance, No Brakes by The Bravery, Disarm by The Smashing Pumpkins(Listening to it at the moment!) and The Anthem by Good Charlotte. All good songs. Especially that Bloc Party one, they're pretty amazing.

Oh but I am ANNOYED because I really wanted this Nirvana one...It's called Son Of A Gun, and it's actually a cover, but it's great. And it turns out it isn't on iTunes because it's on an EP...And on Amazon.com it costs 24 dollars for a used copy, and around 60 dollars for a new one. so, I doubt i'll be able to buy it...such a shame really. Why did Nirvana have to be so LEGENDARY?! Oh yeah, because they have legendary talent...

Ok...school tomorrow. But i'm at least happy I missed Gym, which was today. YAY always good!

Ok, so now I need something totally random to talk about...well, i'm not really in a random mood, but er...Oh yeah i'm gonna complain about...iPods. I'm gonna complain instead of beaing random, ok? Well, I know Apple released a new iPod recently...It looks horrible. Yeah it can hold more songs, but it looks bad...2nd generation was much better. What's with the new one and the stupid sized screen?! Also i've seen people going into Apple to buy these things, but they already have a 3rd generation...WHY?! If you already have an iPod, why do you need ANOTHER?!

Ok, so I just ran out of Pepsi, so BYE!

Oh, one more thing...

"The Killer in me is the killers in you"

Let's summarize!

Hey guys!

Well, today was somehow more uneventuful than normal! I'm so interesting, aren't I?!

Well I spent most of the day inside...Just did some boring shopping this morning, and spent the afternoon with my neighbors.

I actually got the chance to Ripstik for the first time in a few weeks! I'm sort of getting bored with it...But I got the change to pickup Guitar Hero Aerosmith again! Not really enjoy the game too much(not my kind of music), but i've pretty much milked Guitar Hero 3 for all it's worth, so it's something different.

Wait, I don't think i've talked about Guitar Hero 3 before...so i'm an expert/hard player. I'm on Lou on hard, and The Metal and Black Sunshine on expert. Not particularly enjoying this section...The Metal is ok, but I hate Black Sunshine. And i'm FINALLY getting the hang of Cherub Song...I was stuck on this song for...forever. And i'm finally enjoying this song and learning its amazingness...

So, now I NEED a Smashing Pumpkins album...I have a few other SP tracks I like, and I hear they're really good, so it seems like a good investment. Speaking of albums, I hear the new Keane album isn't out till Tuesday. It's out Monday in the UK. Ergh, this band is so amazing...I want it NOW!

Oh, and time for some trivia, one of THe Killers' February UK shows' tickets sold out in FIVE MINUTES! That's insane. That truly is...I hope they go to bigger stadiums...Because if they do a show here, and the tickets are out when i'm at school...that's just worrying.

And yeah I guess that's it! Bye! Funny how a boring day transpires into several paragraphs of meaningless writing, isn't it?

There Aint No Motive For This Crime, Jenny Was a Friend Of Mine...

Enjoy the title? It's from The Killers' "Jenny Was a Friend Of Mine" Great song. One of Brandon's favorites in fact! Mark does the most amazing job in this song.

Ok, so my day was great today! That's not to say it was terribley interesting, but it was great!

Ok, so i'm so happy it's a Saturday. This week has gone by slowly. Especially Monday/Tuesday. Ok, so this morning we went into Borders...found the new Top Gear magazine. "Looking Inside The Stig's House" has got to be funny! And I managed to get Little Britain Abroad on DVD. Very very funny! "Soming about a plane." You have to watch it to understand!

This afternoon was the best. We were out looking for stuff for my Slash Halloween costume. I got a studded belt(VERY COOL!) and black Converses. And in Hot Topic THEY HAD A KILLERS TEESHIRT! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It's purple with "Run for the hills before they burn" written on the back. I definantly have to go back to Hot Topic another time!

Yes, so i'm getting tired so i'll talk more tomorrow. Oh yeah....picture. I'll find something for you all to enjoy.

Bye.

*instert witty title here*

Hey what's up people? I really should have posted earlier today...Oh well, Iron Man got in the way. I bought the DVD a few days ago, and haven't got around the finishing it yet!

So, I basically had a bunch of stuff to post here today, but i've forgotten. I've had the hugest headache all day, and I think it's wiping brain cells. And I guess having Nirvana stuck in my head all day doesn't help.

Ok, anyway...my day. Pretty average...and boring. School, er what happened...Gym was as bad as expected. Music was terrible. What have my guitar group got against practicing? I really wanted to try Monster Mash with someone singing, but they were more concerned about talking. Also, we had to go for a nature walk outside. Tedious.

Ok, so it's time to rant...today it's emo music. WHY is there so much of it? Name the Top 10 most popular bands today, and I guarantee at least half will be emo. It's annoying! And sad how a rock band today is actually an emo band. No one listens to good music anymore...When it comes to music, I feel like I want to be born in like 1980somehting...better music....Not so much emo.

Ok, and one last thing...i'm SO EXCITED because Keane, a band a like(sorta like Coldplay, but better) are coming out witha new album...Monday. Singing comparisons to Brandon also. Got to be good. Anyway, anjoy the picture...bye.

Topsfield Fair

Hello all!

I'm posting in green today..Well, because of the Jewish Holday(forgotten which one) we got a day off school! We went to Topsfield Fair, I think that was what it was called, at least. It was a really good fair, but we were there with my oh-so-annoying neighbor, which didn't really make it fun..

And there was this really cool fire skull teeshirt I wanted to buy...but they didn't have it in a small(it was a men's clothing stand)

*sigh* school tomorrow. Dreading it. I have gym, we're doing football..I can't stand it!

So, other than i'm angry at Mr Flowers because he's playing in England February/March instead of here...that's all. I leave you with a Muse-tastic picture.

Bye!

Eagle Eye ect...

What's happenin' everyone? Well today, i'm gonna post in brown, cause I feel like it...

So, yeah, what's happened to me today? Well, me and some friends went to see Eagle Eye(pretty good movie!) Afterwards we just ended up hanging around the other stores. We almost ended up going to Chuckee Cheeses. Thank god we didn't. But we did get to go to Borders. Music selection was terrible, and they were all messed up. So, they have MCFLY and not NIRVANA?! What is the music industry coming to?! Also, they didn't have Top Gear! But I did discover a whole DVD selection entitled "British TV". Hallelujiah. Well, it was mostly stuff I hadn't heard of. But they did have a lot of Doctor Who(YES YES YES!!!). I can't live without Doctor Who, so yay...

Anyway, hopefully we're gonna do that again, but at the mall.

So, I guess that's it for today, so i'll post a picture of...Green Day, cause that's what i'm currently listening to. Oh and NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!

Bye for now.

Hey what's up...

Hey, what's up everyone? So, it's been a while since I last posted...but i'm still here. I'll just update on some stuff...

I got back from England. It was fun. Saw some old friends, went to Legoland, stuff like that. Had the time of my life on The Dragon Coaster! I've started school again...7th grade...what can I say? It's boring. A perfect summary. But, it's way better than 6th grade. New teachers are ok, but I don't think very highly of them.

So, what am I doing at school? Not a while lot just yet. We're doing politics(yawn), a whole project in fact! It's been a day, and it's already getting on my nerves! Spanish is impossible, music is the only decent thing happening. We're doing guitar, which is now inspiring me to buy my own guitar. We're currently learning Monster Mash. It's fun!

Er, so what else...I'm really getting into music. Muse and Nirvana are now up there as favorite bands. Breed is just an incredibly song! When you really listen to Breed, it just makes me think how amazing Kurt Cobain(RIP) was. Muse is great too, Matthew is such a great guitarist! And there are some other in my profile if you want to check it out.

Ok, so I leave you with Killers news. New album, coming NOVEMBER 25TH! Don't miss it, from the three songs i've heard, it's gonna be incredible! Ok, so, bye bye now, I leave you with a Kilers picture...

Mark Stoermer, roller coasters, and England?

Woah, it's been a while since i've written anything. For once in my life, i'm going to be organised, and split this into three paragraphs.

1.Mark Stoermer( bass for the Killers) turned 31 on June 28. Of corse his birthday wasn't as big to fans as Brandon's but I celebrated. I didn't have enough time to make cake though. But here you go Mark...

Happy birthday to you!

Hapy birthday to you!

Happy birthday dear MarkHappy birthday to you!

Anyway, another thing, i'm visiting the UK, starting tomorrow!

And...i'm in a rush so i'll tell you the rest later. Bye!

Let's get Bloggin'

What's up guys?

As sung by Rick Wilson of The Kaiser Chiefs, "Everythings is average nowadays" but literally, it is. , Nothing much has happened. And as sung by Alice Cooper "School's out for Summer" in five and a half days, to be exact. Enjoying the music quotes? Anyway, can't wait for the year to end. I'm so very fed up with school work/home work. A nice trip to the UK will be just the thing to make my summer. My friends and I will go anarchist in the UK- Anarchy in the UK, the Sex Pistols, guess that one wasn't so good...

Anyway, school was so very boring Friday. Building bridges out of k'nex in enrichment. I was trying to Smile Like I Mean it( The Killers! Had to fit that one in there) while helping everyone else do their's. But my friend slept over and we Rock'd and Rolled all Night( Kiss? I hate Kiss, why did I just do that?)

Anyway, so long, fair well, avidasa(spelling?), goodbye( The sound of music!)

See ya!

MR BRIGHTSIDE...AGAIN!

Picture to the left- Brandon Flowers.Well, since i've spent the past few days talking about the Killers. I thought I might as well give you the lyrics to mr Brightside. Enjoy!

I'm coming out of my cage
And i've been doing just fine
Gotta gotta be down
Because I want it all
It started out as a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss
It was only a kiss
Now i'm falling asleep
And she's calling a cab
While he's having a smoke
And she's taking a drag
Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his chest now
He takes off her dress now
Let me go
And I just can't look it's killing me
And taking control
Jealousy turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabies
Choking on your alibis
But it's just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
'Cause i'm Mr Brightside
Repeat
I never
I never
I never
I never

THE KILLERS...AGAIN!

Picture to the leftBrandon Flowers( 9 days until his birthday!)Well, since i've spent the past few days talking about The Killers, i'd thought i'd post the lyrics to Mr Brightside. Well...here you go!

McFly and Fall out Boy fans look away now!

Hi guys! So, today on one of my many Mr Brightside( see below) google searches, I found something a little...strange. It seems that both McFly, and Fall out Boy, have done cover versions of Mr Brightside. And it annoyed me. A lot. Now, let me explain( seen to the left, the dreaded MCFLY)

For those who don't know, McFly are the world's worst band. Created in London, England, they can't sing, play their instruments, and besides they're not even the same genre as The Killers! How can they do a cover version. And, i'm sure most of you at least know who Fall Out Boy are.

So basically, what i'm saying, is if you ever get the chance to meet these people, stab them for me, will you? NOBODY MESSES WITH MR BRIGHTSIDE! NOBODY MESSES WITH BRANDON! NOBODY MESSES WITH THE KILLERS!

Mr Brightside?

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been able to post in a while. I promise i'll try to write stuff every day from now on!

Anyway, time for some more of The Killers! My friend Rachel told me about a song of theirs called Mr Brightside. It's 100% awesome! It's basically about this guy( Brandon Flowers- celebrate his birthday onJune 21st!) who kissed this girls he likes, but he can't be with, because she's with someone else, and now the two guys hate each other! Kinda weird, but still, a good song. Music video is also a little on the strange side! Picture above- Brandon and the band in the music video!

Boredomw

Hi Guys, time to fill you on on...stuff

Anyway, school was boring for 95% of last week. Good thing is, we have Monday off due to Memorial Day, AKA more Guitar Hero time! Anyway, i went to my friend Rory's b-day party Friday. it was fun for most of it, except Rory was being SO bossy when we were playing Kick The Can! Anyways, i have a big science project that I have to do all the typing for by Tuesday, so i'm working on that a lot. Okay, so bye!

Boredom

Hi everyone,

Well...nothing whatsoever happened at school today. We have 2 quizzes tomorrow which i'm 100% un-prepared for. Especially science...i'm going to do so badly. but at least tomorrow's Friday, which means hand tennis in gym and building bridges in enrichment, which isn't all that bad. once I find the right cable, i'm going to post a few of my own pictures on here! Speak to you soon!

Animal crossing Community!

Hie everyone, practically nothing happened today and i'm bored so i'm just going to post something random. If you have a game called Animal Crossing or Animal Crossing Wild World, go to www.animalcrossingcommunity.com and sign up, look up hs100 and send her a threatening PT! Seriously! She's just spent 3 weeks telling me that the killers are terrible! Now that's annoying...

KILLERS!

Ok, sorry about that last post guys, i was sort of in a bad mood. But, hey, that's what a blog's there for! Ok, so I thought i'd write something about my favourite band, The Killers. They've made 3 albums, many songs, and are AWESOME! They are relatively recent and started in Las Vegas, Nevada! My favourite songs are When You Were Young, Smile like You Mean It, Somebody Told Me, and Read My Mind. most of the photos on google are wierd and this is the best I could find!

So many choices...

Hola! Bonjour! Bonjourno! Guten Tag! Kanechiwa! Hi!

Hope you enjoyed me "round the world" greeting. And yes it does have to tie into what i'm gonna say.

Today in Spanish we recieved the forms we have to fill out to decide the language we take next year! Ahh!!!! What a big decision! One language for the next two years! If I mess this choice up, who knows how many binders i'll wreck while in Middle School!

Well, my options are Spanish, Latin, and French. And I just can't decide!

I (surprisingly) enoyed Latin this year, and the good thing is i'll never have to speak the language and there's some history attached! And French...well French and Mrs Greggory both bored me to death so that is way out of the question. At the moment i'm leaning towards Spanish, I like the language despite the workbooks.

I'm SO confused, how am I going to decide in 2 weeks?! But I'm going to take German in High school, so I suppose it's not that bad.

Speak to you soon!

Smokin'!

Hi guys, i'm bored, so here's another post.

I am literally SO stressed! I've got a Health project on smoking due tomorrow and Mr J is gonna KILL ME because it's really bad. plus, i'm stuck with two complete IDIOTS who can barely do anything! Ergh, i'm way too stressed about this, i've seriosuly got to go watch some Star Wars. Speak to you tomorrow.

Lamborghini time!

Hi everyone! Well, welcome to my second post! Just a quick one, this wonderfully amazing car is a Lamborghnini Murcielago! IF you ever see one zooming down the road, pay your respect and bow down for mercy! This is THE greatest car, super fast, super bright, and super cool! I guess that's way they call it a super car...
